Article Marketing – Writing the Perfect Article

Before you begin using article marketing as an internet marketing strategy, it important that you understand the purpose of article marketing is to get links back to your website in order to generate more traffic to your site, but the underlying benefit is that you are actually branding yourself in the process. By writing valuable content you are giving physical proof that you are an expert in your field. It’s one thing to tell someone you are an expert, but once you start to show them what you know and what they can learn from you, they will want to learn more from you. They will join your email list, the programs you tell them you are having success with and even your join your primary business and, if you are in MLM, this is your ultimate goal. By positioning yourself as a leader, you will attract people to you and people will hunt you down to find out just what it is that is making you so successful and how they can get a piece of the pie. This is also known as attraction marketing and using the article marketing strategy is just one way you can achieve this goal.

So let’s get back to writing articles.

Most article submission sites like the article to be around 500-700 words because this seems to fit nicely on a web page, but most of them will accept articles between 300-2500 words, some more.

Write about a topic you are familiar with. If you’re brand new you’ll need to do some research first. The positive is that there is a lot of information on the net these days and you can easily familiarise yourself with any topic simply by doing a Google search.

You can get useful content from other people’s articles too, just make sure you reword it into your own words.

Sprinkle a few of your main keywords throughout the article, this will help Google pick it up in the search engine when those keywords are searched. Also, try to use your keywords in the title.

Lastly, include your Authors Signature in the resource box. This is the only place you should be posting links to your sites. Many article submission sites will not publish articles with links in the body text, some will not allow affiliate links at all. Read the editors guidelines before submitting your article to ensure you are not violating any rules. Repeated attempts at submitting articles that don’t conform the site’s rules may get you banned from the site.

Don’t forget to include a short sentence about yourself but keep it on topic.

Facebook Marketing For MLM

Probably the most popular form of internet marketing today, more and more people are beginning to use social media marketing to spread the word about their products and services, and get leads for their business. But as with any marketing strategy, there is a right and wrong way. How you use this technology will greatly impact on what results you will achieve. In this article I will only be focusing on how to get leads for your MLM business.

The first thing you will want to do is build a list. To do this you need to get a whole lot of people to add you as a friend. If you don’t want to start with people you know, search for groups on internet marketing and network marketing or even find people who are in specific company groups like the company you are in. Research other companies and look up their fan pages too.

You want to attract others in MLM. This is the best kind of list to have because all your leads will already be familiar with the concept of MLM and probably already be joined with a company. This is a good thing though because somebody has already done all the leg work for you convincing them that MLM is a good business model. Now all you need to do is show them that you are a great leader and expert in your field.

You should try to add about 50 people per day. When you are sending the friend request, write something in the message box to make it more personal like, “hi there, I see you are in (XY Company), so am I, lets connect and share our ideas.”

Soon you will start to see your friend requests get accepted, so start getting to know your new friends. Create a friend list so you can shoot out messages to everyone on the list at once if necessary, but the best way is to talk to each person individually on a more personal level so they begin to trust you. Find out what company they are in, what strategies they are using to promote their business and how it is going for them. You may find they are unhappy with their current company and be looking into other opportunities.

You can show them how you can help them become successful in their business (or yours.) Most people in MLM struggle to be successful because they run out of people to join their business, or worse, they never really get off the ground at all for lack of support from their upline. This is where you will need to shine. Don’t just pitch your business to your prospects straight up, wait until you have established some kind of relationship first. If you show people that you are a great leader they will be asking you what you’re into and join you no matter what.

The most important thing you need to know about article marketing!

Value Value Value.

When writing articles this is the #1 priority.

Firstly, if your article content provides no value to its readers, they will soon click away from your article. The goal is to get them to read all the way to the end where they will find your resource box (signature box) this is where you talk about yourself and what you’re doing and also where you can post your links to your websites. More about this later.

No-one want’s to be sold to anyway. Think about it. If you were online, looking for information on say golfing tips, you wouldn’t want to read a write up about how a particular brand of golf will make you a golfing pro over night would you? However, if the article contained some great tips on how to play, you might read the authors bio at the bottom of the page and see that they are actually a golf pro and that they just happened to own an online store selling professional golf equipment that makes playing golf so much easier. 

This is just an example but you can see how it can apply to anything. Here’s a quote by famous marketer Perry Marshall. ”Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill. They wanted a hole. Therefore if you want to sell drills, you should advertise information about making holes, not information about drills.”

Even if you had the best drill out there, you would still have trouble making sales because the hard fact is that nobody likes to be sold to.

Remember those guys in the shopping centre that stop you while you’re busy and try to pitch you on whatever their fantastic product is that’s only on sale at a great low rate today. You try to just keep on waling don’t you, well it’s like that with article marketing too, if you try to pitch your business to people, they will click away from your page and keep on looking elsewhere, and trust me, online there are a lot of competitors out there waiting to snatch up your leads. By marketing in this way you are throwing away leads and consequently, money.

So if you can’t market your business in the article, then how do you get people to your site to sell them your products?

Well it’s all about getting people to see you as an expert in your field, once you show them that, they will follow you and want to get more information from you. Sooner or later they will ask you what you are doing that’s working for you. It’s then and only then that you can tell them about your business. If you have done everything else correctly and they see you as a leader they will join you no matter what company you are in. They will see that obviously what you’re doing is working and they will want to be in on that too.

Having said all of this, most article submission sites will not approve your articles if there is no value in the content. Having good content on the article site means the site will get more visitors more often and people will keep coming back to them for information. Because these sites make a lot of money from advertisements, the more visitors they get, the more money they make. On top of this it will also help them rank higher on Google and other search engines meaning yet more traffic to their site. The bottom line is, if you are doing article marketing the wrong way, you will simply be wasting your time writing any articles at all because you will not get good results this way.

Forum Marketing

This one is quite simple. Register for a few forums that are along the topic of what you are marketing. Then, complete your profile settings. The signature section is where you will be doing all of your marketing (not in your posts) so make sure you think up a catchy line about what you’re marketing, then provide the link to your page. Once you have your signature set up, go ahead and start reading through the topics in the forum. You can post comments or even start your own thread on a praticular topic. DO NOT SPAM the forum. In other words, don’t just ‘Pitch Your Deal’ This is the easiest way to get banned. You want to post content that will motivate, educate and inspire others. If you do this they will see you as a leader and be more likely to click the links in your signature. If you are new and don’t know much about a particular topic, try searching for articles on that topic to familiarise yourself with it. Now you can teach it. People will respect you as a leader and follow you.

Listbuilders

This is great way to get leads fast. Register for a quality list builder site – I like ListJoe, you can register for it here – http://ListJoe.com/j/narellepy It works by sending out members email ads to yourself and other members. When you click on the link in the ad you earn credits which you can trade in order to create your own email ad and have that sent to other members. The amount of credits you acquire determins how many email ads you cacn send to other members. It takes practice getting your ad right so you get lots of people clicking on it and lots of traffic to the site you want to promote, but once you get the hanag of it, you will find it very easy.

Free Classifieds

This is so easy, Type Free Classified Ads into google, register on the sites you pick and post your ad free. It’s a great way to get fast traffic to your site. Register for several sites and post ads regularly. Don’t forget to post the link to your webpage on the ad

The Real Secret To Marketing Your MLM Online

Ok so here it is. The experts don’t market their primary opportunity (their MLM) they market inexpensive training on how people can be successful in their own MLM. Thats right, the masters of this industry aren’t looking for opportunity seekers, they are looking for people who are already involved in MLM and already understand how it works, these people don’t need convincing, they just need help to make their business work for them. The experts understand that it doesn’t matter what company a person is joined in. What matters is that that person sees them as a leader and someone who can provide them with valuable information on how to succeed. Ok so I’ve shown you a few great ways to get traffic to your site, but how do you turn this traffic into leads and convert those leads into hot prospects for your MLM? Well firstly you need a way to capture the persons contact information. (name, email and phone number) In other words, you need a capture page. This has to be the first page that someone sees when they click on your link before any valuable information is given out. The person must enter their name and email in order to continue to get their information. Once someone does this they become your lead. You can then contact them and start to build a relationship with them. Start by offering your assistance/advice. Be genuine and resist the urge to tell them about the awsome business you are involved in – they will see you as a salesperson and it will only scare them away. Wait until they ask you about it. Ok, so back to the capture page. You could set this up yourself using programs such as aweber – there is a cost involved here but aweber shows you how to set it up on your website and it also has an autoresponder which sends email to all the leads you generate automatically, but I have found the easiest way to get started when you’re a newbie is to become an afiliate of a system that already has everything set up. This may cost you a small amount but when you have no experience it’s the easiest way to get started. How to increase your website traffic or get free leads by submitting articles.

Network Marketers take note – Submitting articles online about your product or service is one of the best ways to improve your websites rank with Google and the other major search engines, thus drastically increasing traffic to your site. The reason article submission works so well is that it provides back links to your website. The more back links you have directed to your site, the higher Google will rank your site on the Search Engine Results Page (SERP). Also, when people read your article they will consider you an expert in the field and therefore be more likely to want more information from you and visit your website.

• Contrary to popular belief, it is not wise to submit multiple articles in a very short amount of time. Yes you may get a big surge of traffic to your site, however, Google will be looking for the reason behind this surge of activity and they may de-index the site. It is better to post articles every couple of days and steadily grow your websites popularity.

• Sprinkle your keywords in the title and throughout your article, especially in the first paragraph. Also, remember to hyperlink related terms in your article, for example, if you are targeting “DIY Tips” be sure to hyperlink back to your website every time the term is repeated in the article.” This will help increase your search engine results pages (SERP). When someone searches for “DIY Tips” on Google, your DIY website will be ranked higher in search the results.

• Don’t copyright articles from other sites. Article directories can ban you from your account for this behaviour. You can, however, use other articles to get ideas. Make sure you rewrite it in your own words.

• Don’t submit articles you have already posted on your website. Google may see this as a duplicate article and determine that the site with the higher page rank (the article site) to be the originator of the article and therefore rank that site higher and your website would suffer.

• The most important things to remember is to make sure the content of the article is high quality. It has information in it that people actually want to know or solves a problem they might have. If your article bores people they won’t read it all the way to the end, which is where you will place the link to your website. Your aim is to make the content so good that ezines and other websites will want to publish your article, thus creating more back links to your site.

Never hear the word ‘no’ again

Do you find it hard to talk to prospects on the phone, getting hung up on, or handling objections?

My story is not so different to that of many others who strive to create financial freedom through Network Marketing. I was introduced to the concept of MLM when I was 18 years old. I started out in party plan and worked hard to build my downline and sell my ccompany’s products, sometimes not getting home until after midnight after also working a full day in my J.O.B (Just Over Broke) I put in so much effort but simply could not make it work. Eventually I scrapped the party plan idea and signed into a different MLM business. I found myself spending more time on this one than the first because not having party plan meant that instead of presenting to multiple people at once, I had to meet with everyone individually and I could not get referrals. My upline told me to keep working hard and eventually the business would take off, but in truth, I could not manage to recruit many people at all, let alone someone who had the same motivation and enthusiasm to succeed as I did. Eventually, I became burnt out and almost quit the MLM scene all together. One day, I was introduced to a new Network Marketing business. I thought “here we go again” but I was ccurious and completely fed up with working a J.O.B. I couldn’t see any other way to achieve my goals and dreams. So I went to the meeting and I was absolutely amazed in what I saw. This is not the point of my story to try to sell you in my opportunity, quite the opposite. Because in fact, after months of prospecting my warm market and holding meetings I was again burnt out. I knew that it was not the opportunity that was letting me down, I was trying to reruit the wrong kind of person. I started to realise that the people I was surrounding myself with did not share my desire to become successful. Shure they had dreams too, but they lacked the motivation to take action to achieve those dreams. So I started to think, where can I find other peoplethat think like me. I will have much better success if I could find those kinds of people. I realised that they were right in front of me. They were my competitors. Other Network Marketers. But how do I tapp into this industry. I had tries to pitch my opportunity to another Netwrok Merketer and failed miserably. Then I realised…all network marketers were looking for a solution to this same problem. Once their warm market has burned out, where do they turn to?  I went online one day searching for an answer. At first all I could find was other network marketers trying to sell their opportunities, that was no help at all. I already had an opportunity, I didn’t want someone to pitch me on another when I couldn’t even work my current one peoperly. Then something amazing happened. I saw an add with someone offering free information on how to build their MLM business online. What I found completely changed my attitude. There were people out there who had actually grown a massive downline only marketing to people online. They were getting hundreads of free leads per day by implementing a simple system. At this point I realised that Internet marketing was the way up and out of this rut. My attitude completely changed and I decided that day that I was going to do what ever it takes to become successful. I have never looked back. So this is my story and it is so many others as well.
